The International Academy of Education Services (IAES) sponsors research in Education, Social Sciences and Healthcare. If you would like to apply for any of the following awards please complete the form below indicating the awards you are interested in applying for.

IAES Journalism Fellowships

This project provides the funds to give working print journalists a chance to spend a year researching and writing on a topic of their choosing.

IAES Joint Education Committee Awards for Educational Development

This project provides the funds to offer assistance to individuals and institutions within certain specified terms of reference.

IAES Joint Educational Committee Awards for Specific Studies

This project provides the funds to enable persons who are, or intend to become teachers or to work in certain capacities associated with education in health care, social science, and in religious subjects.

IAES Alzheimer's Research Scheme Investigator-Initiated Research Grants

This project provides the funds to build on the success of established investigators, by providing sustained support for independent research projects.

Alzheimer's Research Scheme Pilot Research Grants

This project provides the funds to stimulate interest by new investigators, to enable new and established investigators to test the feasibility of new ideas on a small scale, and to enable investigators to generate pilot data to support proposals to IAES foundations, or the IAES Board of Awards for larger grants.

The IAES Pioneer Awards for Epidemiology and Educational Research

This project provides the funds to open Epidemiology and Education Centre in a Clinical Medical subject; promote Epidemiology and Education research in the clinical speciality. This career development award is also referred to as the Senior Academic/Senior Research Fellowship award and enables the grant holder to work as a Director of the new created unit and a Senior Academic from at least a Senior Lecturer Grade.

IAES Legal Foundation Doctoral Dissertation and Postdoctoral Fellowships in Law and Social Science

This project provides the funds to encourage original and significant research on law, the legal profession, and legal institutions.

IAES Cancer Foundation International Fellowships for Beginning Investigators

This project provides the funds to foster a bi-directional flow of knowledge, experience, expertise, and innovation to and from the USA, UK or European Community. To enable beginning investigators and clinicians, who are in the early stages of their careers, to carry out basic or clinical research projects and to develop, acquire and apply, advanced research procedures and techniques.

The IAES Medical Research Fund (MRF)

This project uses the fund for advanced scientific education and fundamental research in the Medical field, which may include any field of pure science and which may afford a basis for subsequent research directly connected with the medical field.

IAES / MRF Scientific Education Grants

This project provides partial funding for foreign speakers at major symposia in the USA or Canada.

IAES / MRF Training Grant Program

This project provides the funds to enable foreign investigators to visit UK, US or European Community research institutions and receive training in clinical research, implementation of public health programmes (e.g. Screening), or Epidemiology; and to enable UK, US or European Community investigators to visit foreign institutions (particularly institutions in underdeveloped countries) to conduct training programmes in clinical research and implement public health programmes.

Association of Health Care Professionals First Diabetic Retinopathy Research Awards

This programme supports clinical or applied research and support healthcare professionals.

IAES/IAES Fellowship/Faculty Transition Awards

This project provides the funds to prepare and support physicians for independent research careers in digestive diseases.

IAES International Digestive Health Foundation (IDHF)

This project provides the funds to advance digestive health through financial support of research and education in the cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of digestive and liver diseases.

IDHF Research Initiative Award

This project provides non-salary funds for new investigators to help them establish their research careers and to support pilot projects that represent new research directions for established investigators. The intent is to stimulate research in gastroenterology or hepatology related areas by permitting investigators to obtain new data that can ultimately provide the basis for subsequent grant applications of more substantial funding and duration.

IAES Endoscopic Multicentre/Comparative Trials Award

This project provides the funds to support for established investigators performing endoscopic research.

Endoscopic Research Awards

This project provides the funds to foster research in gastroenterology endoscopy both within and outside of academic centres.

Industry Research Scholar Awards

This grant provides the funds to ensure that a major proportion of a young investigators.

Innovative Seed Grants in Basic Research in Liver Diseases

This fund is available for young researchers who want to begin careers in hepatology and other liver related diseases.

Higher Senior Academic Award

This award is available for established academics, who want to embark on career development towards professorships.
